Hydro-geomorphologic risks in Portugal:

The FORLAND project – Hydro-geomorphologic risks in Portugal: driving forces and application for land use planning (GEO/1660/2014), financed by national funds through FCT – Foundation for Science and Technology, I.P., began on June 1, 2016, and extends for 36 months.

This project, coordinated by CEG-IGOT (Universidade de Lisboa), is composed of a multidisciplinary team of 22 researchers who will study the driving forces of hydro-geomorphologic disasters in Portugal and propose proactive guidelines for spatial planning.
